26

Old at 26…

Who would’ve known?

Maybe everyone that’s 26,

Everyone that’s grown.

Or they remind you they’re grown

Every chance they get.

Reminding they were 26,

They haven’t forgotten that feeling yet.

But you’re wrong for being 26.

26 is a crime.

A heart that isn’t burnt out yet -

That will still take some time.

You act too young for 26

And still you act too old.

A know-it-all, that knows nothing at all,

That’s craving to forget…

The growing pains of 25

And all that came before

We are older and wiser now

At 26, just like the ones before.
